Week 2: Power Rankings Update

Paul took a break from tax season to bike 170 miles around Florida last weekend. There is no truth to the rumor that he tanked his matchups the first two weeks so that he could blame tax season only to go exercise for three days.

Seeing as this blog is already coming out a day late, you can probably imagine it’s not the best week for me to put together a smart, coherent, and informative blog. I couldn’t, though, go a week without posting power rankings seeing as we have Matt’s first week at number one in the ranks in his Floored history. I also didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to poke back at Max and Dean who creatively changed their team names in honor of last week’s Bourbon Street Blues commentary. I have shown their names here as BSB not only as an acronym but to draw comparisons to them being teenage fangirls of the Backstreet Boys.

Other power rankings observations from the first two weeks: Dean took a big hit as a bunch of his top end draft picks got hurt including that catcher he invested so much in, Gary Sanchez. Paul and Keith also took a big step back. Max made the biggest jump with Michael and Dave taking much needed steps forward as well.
